Coming back to the blog after 3 days- I missed my blog..
An MBA should study hard, work smart, party hard!!
Had my last day of induction this wednesday.. Was an eventful day which included discovering DU and nearby markets, wearing subway uniform and preparing subways, getting wet, eating a chocolate cake, and finally getting inducted!! (We even got our first official t-shirts.. Kinda cool)
The next day was spent in anticipation of the freshers' party in night.. What a party it was. Girls looking hot, booze flowing, DJ was the best, body sonic dance floor and people shouting like there's no tomorrow. If you really want to learn how to party hard, Delhi is the place to be!!
Returned at 4 AM. Thinking of sleeping the entire day off in order to recover.. I never thought I would be able to make it to class tomorrow but somehow made it. Hell, The entire class is in a state of zombieness. Logging off now..
Background noise: Teacher ( Don't know her name) teaching something (Don't know the subject), people sleeping... zzzzzz

20 july 2011
Didn't had a wink of sleep last night. No lights, full-on garmi, and only 3 hours available to sleep( of which most of the time was spent killing insects)..
The only salvation I have living in the hostel is.. lemme think.... sorry I don't have any. I still contemplate my decision to take up the hostel. More blabber about it later on.
Barely catched the bus in the morning. I was almost panting. The bus was scheduled at 7.30. i woke up at 7.20. The rest can be imagined. What has this MBA come to?
Well.. The induction period is almost over. Today's the last day.. and tomorrow's night is gonna be a good night (more details in my next blog)..
Looking forward to attending the ICICI seminar on this weekend( though I wanted to get the chance for my first trip around Delhi- I have long given up any hope of escaping the brutalities). Guess MBA isn't everyone's cup of tea.. And I have long stopped drinking it anyway (pun intended)..
I could not have breakfast, and did not had lunch. Just a few snacks in-between. I feel I must loosing a pound each day.
Well, I am almost feeling nostalgic about home- and that too within a month of joining here.. Guess working 18 hours a day can bring a burnout really soon.. Hoping against all hopes that this torture gonna end soon (within 3 months I suppose)..
Right now heading towards NC from SC in a mini traveller (with AC, music and relaxation).. Life ain't that bad after all..
M dozing off. ( Background music playing: kabhi kabhi Aditi zindagi mein yuhi)...

19 july 2011
Well I have been meaning to complete this post since a week or so, but have always preferred sleep over mindless typing.. Well today, i am not facebooking, not googling, no presentations, and no sleeping.. So I realize I have time for blogging during my lectures( all these mindless activities are always done in the class.. I guess its better time utilization)..
Hell, I feel asleep again. Sorry, but nowadays I am feeling sleepy 24X7. My schedule of sleeping 3 hours for first 15 days @ FMS has been disturbed. Oversleeping( sleeping more than 5 hours) has disturbed my body clock..
The worst thing is to make yourself get up in the morning. Well, the pressure for morning ablutions make sure that I do so. But recently, I have started contemplating that also- should I go for it , should I postpone.
Till now the classes have been a haze of empty banter. HR classes are a sure-shot sleeping pill.. Rather, its not a pill- its an entire meal with desserts - people can be seen falling asleep left, right and center. The ratio of 'sleeping' to 'trying to sleep' is always tilted in favor of the former group- and I am mostly in it(Except when I am sitting bang in the middle of class- an unfavorable situation).
I Guess I was befooled when somebody told me that the PG men's hostel was near .. It ain't near to anything. No paan shops, no liquor shops( either manmohan type or obama type), no mobile shops, its in a remote jungle - place we refer to as dark hole. Most of the rickshaw walas, auto walas, anybody, everybody- doesn't have a clue about the location of our hostel- even if he/she is living/drooling girls/sleeping within 20 feet of our hostel. Even I have a hard time explaining to people where our hostel is located, there are no landmarks nearby, no recognizable stone whatsover which is known to any person/animal/alien..
Well logging off for now.. Haven't seen Delhi at all yet.. Hoping to go for a trip soon.. Life is just short of hell..
